Daft Antics are a group of street performers based in Sligo (North West Ireland) and Bristol (England)

The group has a wide range of talents, with certain members specialising in different areas of performance. The group is comprised of a number of experienced street performers who have worked together for over 8 years.

• Face Painters

The group is available for large street parades or festivals as well as smaller scale events such as cabarets, corporate events, opening nights, concerts etc.

Daft Antics have been involved in many workshops and community projects over the years. Including working with children from 5 years to adult workshops with actors etc.

The group has a long standing association with the County Sligo Youth Theatre, including founding and running a weekly Circus Club. (Sundays 2-4pm ages 12-120)

Workshops include the basics of juggling, tumbling, headstands, diabolo, devil sticks, poi and other circus skills. Special stiltwalking workshops are also available.

Due to restrictions of space and equipment, workshop numbers are generally limited to a max of 25 participants per session, although multiple sessions can be run in a day for larger groups.

Helios Fire Promotions is the side group of Daft Antics which runs fire performances

Helios fire promotions are available for opening nights, firework shows, night parades and carnivals as well as smaller events.
